Friday, May 29, 2009decided to do some slight changes to my blogskin!!
i am suppose to do a blogskin specially for denmark,
like the whole european feel..
but i have this strong feeling,
that this will stay for quite some time=P
just love the colour combination much!!
maybe i will just change the picture regularly!!=D
we will see about it later!!haha
oh & my new tagboard is finally up!!=D
still no idea why my old one disappeared.
i am staring at the photos,
& i don't know how to start my entry on NZ!!
way too much to share..

talk the KL walk.
Thursday, May 28, 2009yes, im finally blogging about KL!=)
basically we walked & shopped
places we went to:
PAVILION[<3], Sungei Wang, BB plaza, MidValley, KLCC...
besides walking,
we took trains (tried 4 out of 5 lines).
& i got to say,
I APPRECIATE SINGAPORE'S MRT MORE NOW!!
not that all trains there are terrible,
but we did have our fair share of waiting & squeezing=(
& of course the lines are really confusing!!
However, also from my experience,
i now understand why Singaporeans are labeled KIASU.
oh wells...

YUMMYYYYYYYYY!!!!=P
honestly the food there is really good!! And some really cheap (compared to Singapore at least). One place never to miss over at Malaysia is Secret Recipe! You pay the same amount as you do in SG, just that its in Ringgit (which also means its less than half the price?). Another place rey will definitely second is Nando's, especially if you love grilled chicken and hot spicy stuff. First time eating there during this trip, & fell in love with it:) oh & dun forget Old Town White Coffee!! Im more of a tea person, but when i was there i drank "Charm" (which is their name for yingyong), because their coffee is a must try!! The original is super thick & strong!! Rey & I got darn high aft just one small cup, we couldn't stop making stupid comments, laughing, giggling...it was hilarious!!=D I just don't want to imagine how we will be like if we actually drank their "gao" version, totally out of control? I think bao would have abandoned us!!haha=DThe "sloping shoulders" moments

imagine, these were not even during our "highness on old town" moments!!hahaREY!!!this is for you-->*sloping shoulders action*
our (rey's & mine) combined loot over the four days=Pi really enjoyed this trip, especially after all the shit-ass endless mugging the few weeks before that, draining us all dry & ugly. A rather fresh experience travelling around in trains there, because usually when i head there with my family, daddy will be driving, so will be all spoilt and of course choose the comfort of the car over squishing ourselves in the crowd=P
actually i think that (i will be back to KL) will happen pretty soon. My family is thinking of heading up during National Day just before i head off to Denmark. Hopefully we are confirm going, because i can just forsee it being just as a blast as this trip!!*fingers crossed*something really random=P
i was packing my clutterd table the other day,
& i found this.
a birthday card from the insurance agent last year.just wondering,
how does he know i adore zebras?
the card is super cute right?!=P
anyways after some mood turmoil & churning the last couple of days,
something cracked me up real well earlier.
i gave him (i shall not expose his identity)..
a chocolate orange from NZ,
its like a chocolate in the shape & size of an orange,
& its solid chocolate!
(meaning not hollow inside)
so it actually weighs quite a bit..
with some force it will break into slices (like orange slice).
so this smart boy decided to put it in the fridge.
It became rock hard (not that it was not hard enough.)
After a few failed attempts of forcing it to break,
he decided to throw it on the wooden floor.
of all spots, he threw it on a hollow area.
not only waking his brother up because of the "thud",
the chocolate orange left a dent on his floor!!!!
damn amazing right..
what a harmless looking thing can do huh.
i laughed till my stomach cramped up!!=D
hopefully your mum won't realise it=S

back to
& im suffering from jetlag=(
at this time in NZ, i will be sound asleep.
(NZ is 4 hours ahead of SG)
p.s thanks to the time difference, i gained 4 hours
so now as im typing this,
my eyes are half almost closed.
but im forcig myself awake,
so as to tune my biological clock back.
if not i will be waking up in the wee hours,
not knowing what to do.
that i toally dislike=S
im super backlogged in my "updates".
KL tip, last minute shopping spree,
& of course the NZ trip=O
plus all the random things on hand to settle:
acceptance package, visa, air ticket, intern(?), tuition..
blah blah & the list goes on!
im going to get busy,
i will start sorting my photos
i will collect my acceptance package
i will apply for more interns
i wll fill up the endless documents
i will...
you are slowly slipping out of my life.
i know you alot less than what i thought.
the connection is freezing.
the vision is blurring.
was that a sign?

although i feel like a ball these few days,
[everyday the number of layers increases]
i really love the weather here!!!
now im definitey looking forward to denmark in aug=P
one very important lesson learnt here,
stock up on moisturiser for the next half of the year!!!
my skin is cracking on my face=(
now im in queenstown,
will be going back to christchurch tmr=)
my free internet access is running low,
so its time to go shopping!!!=D

like rey, im glad we made ths trip=D
in short, we walked, walked & WALKED..
bought
but i couldn't find anything for my parents=((
i bought food instead..*gulpsss
now i need to go pack for NZ=S
im leaving tmr night..
& I DON'T HAVE A WINTER JACKET YET!!
im good, fantastic,
oh MY PARENTS ARE COMING ALONG!!!=D
initially it was only the 3 of us & my cousin.
now we got mummy & daddy!*happiness!!

not what i expected
Sunday, May 10, 2009i wanted to blog about happy things today,
with loads of pictures, excitement,
just before i leave for KL tomorrow morning.
But just one thing had to spoil the mood, totally.
i still want to share my enjoyments,
but not today.
so what did she do?
she has

yes, i know i was at fault for leaving things around,
but i was getting back to it after a break.
i am afterall elder than her.
don't i deserve this little respect from her?
i may seem to take such treatment from her lightly at times,
but i do have my pride.
if she did give me some,
i will not have reacted the way i did, definitely.
i walked away purely because of her attitude towards me,
nothing else, absolutely.

breakfree from the exams
Friday, May 8, 2009YEAH!my exams are FINALLY OVER!!
for some reason, this sem's exams seem like FOREVER!=(
almost everybody ended way earlier than me us!!
& some pesty friends had to rub it into my face,
which got me even angstier!
not that the evidently emptier (by the day) HSS was not enough!!
*sheeeeeesh*
but of course there were those ever so dearest ones,
who were the sweetest & cheered me on!!=D

[next sem will be better, way better! i just know it=P]
so after our uber late paper,
we decided to give our growling tummies a good treat,
but we could not go to far,
our bodies were giving way too=S
