Friday, April 17, 2009During those days when I still had to be clad in school uniform, last day of school equates holidays (it's PARTY time).then when i entered university, last day of school means exams are in a week (it's mjor MUGGING time). Just as i thought this will not get any worse, i am proven wrong, totally. today is the last day of school, exams start next saturday, but here am i STILL DOING REPORTS (due next friday)!! thank god im finally done with my part, at least i think so (if not i will not be here!!=P)

So the story goes....Since last night i had problems signing in, they just kept saying there was an error..i googled the error code and tried all ways & means that was recommended..but IT JUST REFUSED TO WORK!! ohmygawd, i was so fustrated!! i was so damn determined to get it to work properly..it was to a point that i wanted to sign in not to talk to people but just figure out what was wrong with the stupid thing..cause apparently my internet connection was working perfectly fine.so dumb right? So i decided to act as if i was super IT savvy (totally not true=S), and reinstall the whole program!! Failed, not convinced, reinstalled a second time, failed, not convinced, reinstalled the third time......I reinstalled it FIVE times..& guess what? IT STILL FAILED!!!haha fantastic right? I tried my luck doing random knocks here and there, looking for solutions on forums until about 3am, & i got really tired. & if you are wondering, it still refused to sign me in at that time. but desire for sleep got the better of me. Then this morning i woke up (automatically) at 7am (don't ask me why)!!! crossing my fingers that my MSN is in a good mood today!!!& "sorry, the service is currently unavailable. Please try again later." stared straight at my face! what a wake up call huh..so i had to convince myself this will just be a temporary issue, it will be all fine when i get home later and get connected to my trusty broadband!!!so naive right..haha..oh wells its better than getting my blood boiling first thing in the morning!!
So basically, while waiting for the program to reinstall many many times last night, i decided to close ALL internet explorer windows hoping that it will speed up the process. And all i could do, was to get down to working on my reports!! Concluding that it will be way better than medidating on my chair and wasting my time away. I actually did quite a bit of the report plus some readings too!!!hoho..And this morning when my MSN was still throwing a tantrum, I finished my part of the report, compiled and formatted those who have sent theirs out, did a coverpage & content page (totally a pain to do, but i shall not elaborate to make myself sound even more like an IT noob!), & completed my final individual assignment for this semester!!!unbelievable huh? I was quite shocked that I manage to sit myself down for 8 to 9 hours (except for toilet breaks & nibbles here and there)..good warm-up for the mugging week ahead!!!=D
& again if you are wondering, MY MSN IS ALIVE AGAIN!!!!=D & guess what, it started to work after i finished whatever that i had listed above. When i was done with all those, i had to check my mail and send out stuff, happen to click onto the live messenger icon, so i decided to give it another chance, and *jhang jhang jhang* IT WORKED!!! hmmm maybe it knew that i had tonnes of work to clear, so it refused to sign me in until i was done with all the crap!!=P
This is probably how im going to look like from next week onwards (except for the balancing of books on my head!! & the length of hair!!hahaha=O)

yesterday i met my big sister,
for our weekly lunch date.hehe
she decided to bring me to Hyatt for..
the FJ BENJAMIN SALE..
honestly i thought i will step out of that place empty-handed.
i was wrong, absolutely.
after squirming & wading through the crowd,
we still decided to go back for round2 today!!
so we had in mind to get stuff for my parents,
& of course more pieces for ourselves won't harm!=P
thinking it will be slightly less crowded in the morning,
we headed down at 10am (time it opens!)..
conclusion? we totally underestimated singaporeans!!haha
anyways round2 was definitely on par with round1=P
its the 1st time i ever did this in singapore.
actually i don't even remember doing this overseas.
$252 just floated out of my account in less than 24hrs!!
so much for saving up huh?=S
but they were such good FABULOUS buys..
& oh so worth it=D

quite sad that now at this age,

on this very "memorable" day.
i guess everyone is just busy,
catching up with backlog work,
rushing to meet deadlines,
meetings to perfect those presentations & reports,
& the list goes on....
oh wells..since the begnning of the week,
i have been longing & waiting for today to be over!!
*everyweek seems to be the same case=P
usually after wednesday, my week seems way brighter=D
so today i had APB presentation,
which is also THE presentation that i dread most.
i really have no idea why,
but the stress level was way up there!!
bwahhh...just glad that..ITS OVER!!
& really, it was not that bad after all=)
alrights, the day continued..
then i had a 2nd midterm for OE at 7pm..
the best thing was i thought the paper was 2hrs,
then 1hr into the paper,
Dr Park went "You have 30 more minutes"
& I barely started with the 2nd section!!
fantastic right?! haha
thank goodness i managed to scribble all that i wanted=P
phewwwww...
super tiring day!!!
have been up since 8 to prepare,
& i got back not too long ago.
more work awaiting me=O
